Device description
The impact drivers are designed for driving and loosening screws and bolts, as well as tightening and loosening nuts within the specified dimensions. Key components include the tool holder, rotational direction switch, on/off switch, and the PowerLight.
Assembly
Battery Charging: Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. The battery is supplied partially charged; charge it fully before the first use. The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by Electronic Cell Protection (ECP).
Changing the Tool: Ensure the tool is securely connected to the tool holder. For the GDR 18V-160, pull the locking sleeve forward to insert or remove bits. For the GDX 18V-180, slide the tool onto the square drive of the tool holder.
Operation
Starting Operation: Set the rotational direction switch to the center position to prevent accidental starting. Insert the charged battery into the base of the tool until it locks securely.
Switching On/Off: Press and hold the on/off switch to start. Release it to stop. The PowerLight illuminates the work area when the switch is pressed.
Maintenance and Service
