The Bosch GEX 18V-150-3 Professional is a cordless eccentric sander designed for dry sanding of wood, plastic, filler, and coated surfaces. Key operations include battery installation, sanding sheet attachment, and dust extraction management.
Device description
The sander features an on/off switch, a dust box assembly, and an orbital stroke rate selection interface with LED indicators. It includes edge protection and a sanding pad with a hook-and-loop fastening system.
Assembly
Always remove the battery before performing maintenance or changing accessories. To change the sanding sheet, lift it from the side and pull it off the sanding pad. Ensure the holes in the sanding sheet align with the holes in the sanding pad for optimal dust extraction. To replace the sanding pad, unscrew the central screw, remove the pad, lubricate the marked ring with synthetic grease, and attach the new pad, ensuring the teeth of the catch mate with the recesses.

Operation
Switch the tool on/off using the main switch. Use the orbital stroke rate buttons to adjust the speed based on the material and application. The tool features Constant Electronic to maintain a consistent speed under load. After extended use at low speeds, run the tool at maximum speed for 3 minutes without load to cool it down.
Dust extraction
The tool can be used with the included dust box or connected to an external vacuum cleaner via an extraction hose. For optimal performance, empty the dust box regularly. When working on vertical surfaces, hold the tool so the dust box or hose faces downwards.
Maintenance and cleaning
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. If the braking effect decreases, check the sanding pad for wear and replace it or the pad brake/rubber sleeve if damaged.
