Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch GEX 18V-150-3 is a cordless random orbit sander designed for dry sanding of wood, plastic, filler, and coated surfaces. This guide provides essential information for safe and efficient operation.
Device Description
The sander features an on/off switch, a dust box assembly, edge protection, a sanding pad, and an LED indicator for speed preselection and battery charge status. It also includes buttons for adjusting the orbital stroke rate.
Battery Handling
Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Ensure the battery is fully charged before the first use. To insert, slide the battery into the holder until it clicks. To remove, press the release button and pull the battery out. The battery charge level can be checked using the LEDs on the battery itself or the indicator on the tool when it is not in operation.
Operation
Switching On/Off: Press the on/off switch to start and stop the tool. Ensure you can operate the switch without releasing the handle.

Speed Preselection: Use the two buttons to preselect the required speed, even during operation. After working at a low speed for an extended period, run the tool at maximum speed for approximately 3 minutes without load to cool it down.
Dust Extraction
For self-generated dust extraction, slide the complete dust box onto the extraction outlet until it is flush. Empty the dust box regularly for optimal performance. For external extraction, fit a dust extraction hose onto the outlet and connect it to a suitable vacuum cleaner.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. If the braking effect deteriorates, check the sanding pad for wear and replace it or the pad brake/rubber sleeve if necessary.
