The Bosch GLI 18V-1200 C is a portable, cordless worklight designed for temporary illumination in indoor and outdoor areas. It features Bluetooth connectivity for control via the Bosch Toolbox app and is dust-proof and splash-proof when the battery cover is properly locked.
Device Description
The worklight features a lamp head, an on/off switch, a carrying handle with notches for hanging, and a 1/4" tripod mount. It is powered by an 18V Li-ion battery and includes a coin cell (CR 2032) to maintain Bluetooth connectivity even when the main battery is removed.
Operation
Switching on/off and adjusting brightness:
- Press once: Switches on the worklight, dimmed.
- Press twice: Switches on the worklight, full brightness.
- Press three times: Switches off the worklight.
If the light has been on in dimmed mode for approximately 5 minutes, the next press will switch it off immediately.
Battery Handling
To insert the battery, unlock the battery cover, insert the charged battery until it engages, and close the cover, ensuring the rubber lip is seated correctly to maintain IP protection. To remove, press the battery release button and pull the battery out.
App Control
The worklight can be controlled via the "Bosch Toolbox" app. After connecting via Bluetooth, you can access features like remote control, timer settings, grouping multiple lights, and status checks.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
The worklight is maintenance-free. Clean the plastic lens only with a dry, soft cloth. If the coin cell is fully discharged, replace it. If the worklight fails to connect via Bluetooth, remove both the coin cell and the main battery for 10 seconds to reset the module.
