This manual covers the Bosch GPT 18V-19 and GPT 18V-32 cordless press tools. These tools are intended for pressing pipe systems using approved press jaws and fittings.

Safety Instructions

Warning: Always keep fingers and other body parts away from the work area of the cylinder and press jaws. There is a risk of crushing.

• Wear protective glasses.
• Operate only by trained professionals aged 16+.
• Operate only by one person.
• Do not press live electrical parts.

Assembly

Remove the battery before any work on the tool. Select the press jaw that matches the diameter and contour of the press fitting. Turn the lock (8) forward, remove it, push the press jaw (1) onto the tool holder (9), and lock it back in place.

Operation

Turn the tool holder (9) to align the press jaw. Press the rear ends of the press jaw to open it and position it at a right angle on the press fitting. Press the on switch (2) until the worklight (7) flashes and the forced pressing process starts.

Maintenance

Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Send to Bosch service if the status indicator (4) shows a yellow light (40,000 cycles reached) or an internal error (red light).
