Device Description

The GTS 18V-216 is a cordless table saw designed for straight-line cutting in hardwood, softwood, chipboard, and fibreboard. It supports mitre angles from -30° to +30° and bevel angles from 0° to 45°. It can also cut aluminium profiles and plastic with appropriate saw blades.

Assembly

Before using the tool, ensure all parts are included: table saw with pre-fitted blade and riving knife, angle guide, parallel guide, additional parallel guide, protective cover, hex key, ring spanner, push stick, and table insert. Operation

Ensure the riving knife is correctly positioned and the blade guard is properly mounted before use. Adjust the saw blade height and bevel angle as needed for your cut. Always use the push stick when the distance between the fence and the saw blade is less than 150 mm, and a push block when it is less than 50 mm.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always remove the battery before performing maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Regularly remove dust and chips using compressed air or a brush. Ensure the lower saw blade cover is cleaned, especially when sawing aluminium.

Safety

Never stand directly in line with the saw blade. Always use the riving knife and blade guard for through-cutting operations. Do not perform any operation freehand; always use the rip fence or mitre gauge. Keep hands away from the cutting area while the tool is running.
