Device Description

The tool features a tool holder, locking sleeve, belt clip, battery, battery release button, light, rotational direction switch, and on/off switch. The GDX model features a dual tool holder (internal hexagon and square drive), while the GDR uses an internal hexagon and the GDS uses a square drive.

Assembly and Tool Change

Inserting the battery: Slide the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place. Removing the battery: Press the battery release button and pull the battery out. Do not use force.

Changing the tool: For GDR/GDX models, pull the locking sleeve forward, insert the tool into the holder, and release the sleeve. For GDX/GDS models, slide the tool onto the square drive of the tool holder. Ensure the tool is securely held.

Operation

The tool is driven by an electric motor via a gear and impact mechanism. The process consists of two phases: screwing in and tightening. The impact mechanism activates when the screw connection tightens and the motor is loaded. Use the rotational direction switch to change the direction. The speed is infinitely adjustable by varying the pressure on the on/off switch.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regularly clean the air vents to prevent dust accumulation, which can cause electrical hazards. Clean the tool holder and locking sleeve periodically. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation.

Technical Data

All models operate at 18V with a no-load speed of 0–3400 min⁻¹. The GDR/GDX models have a 1/4" internal hexagon tool holder, while the GDX/GDS models also feature a 1/2" square drive. Maximum torque is 200 Nm for all models.
