This guide provides essential information for operating the Bosch GPB 18V-2 C and GPB 18V-2 SC Professional workplace radios. Always ensure the battery cover and connector compartment are closed to protect the device from water and dust.

Device Description

The radio features a display, speaker, carrying handle, preset buttons, rod antenna, and source selection button. It can be powered by an 18V Li-ion battery or the included power supply.

Power Supply

Battery Operation: Insert the battery into the holder (14) until it engages. The charge level is indicated on the display or by the LEDs on the battery itself. Power Supply Operation: Open the connector compartment (15), insert the power supply plug (21) into the socket (22), and connect to the mains.

Audio Operation

Switching On/Off: Press the On/Off button (2). The radio will play the last used audio source. Volume Control: Turn the On/Off button (2) clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Selecting Audio Source: Press the Source button (7) to cycle through DAB/DAB2 (SC model only), FM/FM2, AUX, and Bluetooth®.

Bluetooth® and TWS

To connect a Bluetooth® device, press the Source button (7) until the Bluetooth® indicator (a) appears, or press the Bluetooth® button (11). For True Wireless Stereo (TWS), connect one radio to the audio source, then select the TWS menu option on both radios to designate them as left and right speakers.

Maintenance

Keep the radio and power supply clean using a damp, soft cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents. If the radio fails to save settings, replace the backup button cell (CR 2032).
