The Brother P-Touch 1260VP is a portable, handheld label maker specifically designed for electricians. It features a QWERTY keyboard, a navigation dial for easy menu access, and an 8-character LCD screen for previewing labels before printing. Device features and operation
The label maker allows for up to 2 lines of text per tape and includes 205 characters and symbols, including over 20 electrical symbols. Tape specifications

Common problems
Label tape not sticking well
Ensure you are using the correct tape type for the surface. For rough or challenging surfaces, use the included extra-adhesive TZ tape.
Device not powering on
Check that the 6x AAA batteries are installed correctly or ensure the AC adapter is securely connected to the device and a power outlet.
Before use
- Install 6x AAA batteries or connect the AC adapter.
- Insert a compatible TZ tape (6mm, 9mm, or 12mm).
- Ensure the tape is properly fed through the slot.
- Familiarize yourself with the navigation dial and QWERTY keyboard layout.
