This document provides essential instructions for setting up and safely operating your Calex 13A 4-Gang Smart Extension. Please ensure you have a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection before beginning the installation process.

Getting started

Before adding the device to your network, ensure you have your Wi-Fi network name and password ready. The device requires a strong Wi-Fi signal for optimal performance.

• Download the Calex Smart app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Open the app and follow the on-screen prompts to create an account if you are a first-time user.
• Turn on the device. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone to allow for automatic connection.
• If automatic connection fails, manually add the device by tapping the + icon in the top right corner of the app screen.

Resetting the device

If you encounter connection issues, you may need to reset the product. Press and hold the on/off button until the indicator light begins to blink, then repeat the pairing process in the app.

Safety and usage

To ensure safe operation, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• This device is intended for indoor use only.
• Do not use the device if it is damaged or defective. If the cable or fitting is damaged, disconnect it immediately.
• Always turn off the power and allow the device to cool before attempting any replacement.
• The device should only be opened or repaired by an authorized technician.
• To disconnect the voltage, pull the plug directly from the socket.
