The Clarke Devil 6015 is a high-performance, forced-air electric fan heater engineered for commercial and industrial environments. It is specifically designed for drying and warming spaces where adequate ventilation is provided. This unit is not intended for domestic use, heating habitable areas, or warming livestock.

Safety Information

Warning: This heater must be earthed. Always ensure the unit is connected to a 400V, 3-phase 50Hz power supply. Never modify the plug or use the power cable to pull the heater. Keep the unit away from flammable materials, liquids, and gases. Do not use in explosive atmospheres or areas with high condensation. Always maintain at least a 2-meter clearance from walls, furniture, or combustible materials.

Operation

The heater features a four-position control switch: Fan only, Fan + 1/3 heat, Fan + 2/3 heat, and Fan + full heat output. An integrated thermostat allows for fine control of the temperature between 0 and 40°C. For safety, the unit includes a manually resettable thermal cutout that activates in the event of overheating. When switching the unit off, it is recommended to run it in 'Fan Only' mode for approximately 10 minutes to cool the heating elements before disconnecting from the power supply.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Regular maintenance is essential for safe operation. Periodically clean the unit using compressed air while wearing a dust mask. Ensure the heating elements are free of dust and inspect the mains cable for signs of heat damage or cracking. If the heater fails to operate, check the power supply, fuse, and ensure the manual reset button has not been triggered. If the unit requires internal repairs, contact a qualified professional, as the heater is fitted with tamper-proof screws.
