Installation Steps
- Mark Location: Place the bracket at the desired height and mark the location for the top screw with a pencil.
- Mount Bracket: Drive a #8 x 1.25 in. screw into the wall at the marked location until the head is about 0.25 in. (6.35 mm) from the wall. Slide the bracket onto the top screw.
- Secure Bracket: Using a level, ensure the bracket is straight. Drive a second #8 x 1.25 in. screw through the bottom hole of the bracket. Tighten the top screw. Repeat these steps for any additional brackets.
- Position Shelf: Place the shelf on top of the brackets. Ensure the overhang on the sides does not exceed 8 in. (20.32 cm) and the distance between brackets does not exceed 32 in. (81.28 cm).
- Fasten Shelf: Once in position, drive a #8 x 0.625 in. screw into the shelf using a screwdriver to secure it to the brackets.
