Product Description
The 160SZ is a specialized lubricant designed for refrigeration systems. It is a colorless to yellowish liquid with a mild odor, formulated to ensure optimal performance in cooling applications.
Safety and First Aid
While the product is not classified as hazardous under CLP regulations, standard industrial hygiene practices should be followed. In case of contact, observe the following first aid measures:
- Inhalation: Move the affected person to fresh air and keep them in a comfortable position for breathing.
- Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Prolonged or repeated contact may cause mild skin irritation.
- Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
- Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Drink water as a precaution. Do not induce vomiting.
Handling and Storage
Ensure adequate ventilation in the workplace to keep vapor concentrations low. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. When handling the product, do not eat, drink, or smoke, and wash hands thoroughly after use.
Store in the original container, kept tightly closed in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from food, drink, and animal feed.
Firefighting and Accidental Release
In case of fire, use carbon dioxide, dry powder, or water spray. For large fires, use alcohol-resistant foam. Do not use a solid water stream. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
In the event of a spill, prevent the substance from entering drains or public water systems. Absorb spills with inert materials like sand, earth, or vermiculite and dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
