Product Overview
The Ecosmart BR30 Motion and Dusk to Dawn sensor bulb is a versatile lighting solution designed for convenience and energy efficiency. It features adjustable color temperatures and integrated motion and light sensors to automate your home lighting.
Operation and Settings
Before installation, ensure the power to the fixture is turned off. Select your preferred settings using the switches on the bulb:
- Color Temperature: Choose from 2700K (Soft White), 3000K (Bright White), 3500K (True White), 4000K, 5000K (Daylight), or 6500K.
- Sensor Modes: Select between Motion On (always active), Motion On and Dusk to Dawn (active only in the dark), or Motion and Dusk to Dawn off (standard bulb mode).
After selecting settings, install the bulb and turn on the power. The bulb requires a 30-second initialization period. Once active, the bulb will turn on when motion is detected and remain on for 2 minutes after motion ceases. Power must remain supplied to the fixture for the sensor to function.
Performance Tips
- For optimal performance, install the bulb facing downwards at a height of 9 feet.
- The motion sensor has a 10-foot range with a 120-degree detection angle.
- Note that the bulb uses a microwave sensor, which may detect motion through walls.
- Metal fixtures may interfere with sensor performance.
- The bulb is compatible with most LED-rated dimmers.

It is designed for residential use and should be installed with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body to comply with radiation exposure limits.
