Safety Information

Before using the power head, read all operating instructions and the enclosed booklet of general safety instructions (leaflet no. 315.915). Always operate the tool in perfect working order and address any safety-impairing faults immediately. Always remove the battery pack before performing any assembly, adjustments, cleaning, or when the tool is not in use.

Assembly and Setup

Familiarize yourself with all operating features before use. To install an attachment, stop the motor, remove the battery, loosen the wing knob, and align the attachment shaft with the coupler. Ensure the spring-loaded pin clicks into the correct groove (B-2 for GLT 35). Securely tighten the wing knob. The front-assist handle must be mounted and adjusted so that the arm holding it is straight during operation. Never operate the tool without the front-assist handle firmly in place.

Operation

To start the power head, push the lock-off button to the left or right, then depress the variable-speed trigger switch. The trigger provides higher speed with increased pressure. Release the trigger to stop. Use the speed mode switch to select between low (1) and high (2) speed modes. Always remove the battery pack during work breaks and after finishing work.

Maintenance and Care

Regularly clean the power tool and ventilation slots using dry compressed air. Repairs should only be carried out by an authorized customer service center. For spare parts and accessories, consult the manufacturer's catalogs or website.

Disposal

Do not dispose of electric power tools or batteries in household waste. In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU and 2006/66/EC, used tools and batteries must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
