Operation

The lens features a zoom/focus control ring, zoom buttons, and a manual zoom ring. The zoom/focus control ring allows for powered zooming, with speed proportional to rotation. The Z/F button toggles the function of the control ring between zoom and focus. Always wipe moisture from the lens before adjusting zoom to prevent water ingress.

Maintenance

Keep lens signal contacts clean. Use a blower to remove dust and lint. To clean glass surfaces, apply a small amount of lens cleaner to a soft cloth and clean in a circular motion from the center outwards. Never use organic solvents like paint thinner or benzene. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, mothballs, or camphor.
