The Globe Rockhill 1-Light LED Vanity is a versatile lighting solution designed for residential use. It features a sleek matte black finish with a frosted glass shade, providing both functional task lighting and a convenient motion-activated night light. The main light is dimmable (10%-100%) and offers five selectable color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K) to suit your interior design needs.
Safety Information
Important: Read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly. This unit contains a non-replaceable integrated LED diffuser; do not attempt to remove it. Always ensure the power is turned off at the main service panel before starting any electrical work. Shutting off a wall switch is not sufficient to prevent electric shock. If you are unsure about any electrical installation steps, consult a qualified professional electrician.
Installation
Installation requires basic tools including a power drill, electrical tape, wire cutters, and a step ladder. Begin by removing the mounting plate from the fixture. Secure the mounting plate to your outlet box using the provided screws. Connect the fixture wires to the house supply wires using the included wire connectors: green/bare copper to ground, white to neutral, and black to live. Ensure all connections are secure and no wires are exposed. Finally, mount the fixture to the wall plate using the decorative nuts, attach the glass shade, and secure it with the socket ring.
Night Light Function
The integrated night light is motion-activated and provides a dim ambient glow. It automatically turns on when two conditions are met: the main light is off and motion is detected. The night light will turn off automatically five minutes after the last movement is detected. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery that charges automatically whenever the main light is switched on. A full charge takes approximately 4.5 hours, providing 4.5 hours of battery life.
Care and Maintenance
To maintain the appearance of your vanity light, turn off the power before cleaning. Use only clear water and a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the fixture. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
