Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Please adhere to the following precautions:

• Do not cover: Covering the heater presents a fire risk and will trigger the safety fuse, permanently disabling the unit.
• Clearance: Keep all objects, including curtains and textiles, at least 1 metre away from the front, sides, and rear of the heater.
• Environment: Use only indoors on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Do not use in bathrooms, near swimming pools, or in areas where flammable liquids are stored.
• Supervision: Never leave the heater unattended while in use. Do not use in small rooms occupied by persons unable to leave the room independently.
• Electrical Safety: Plug directly into a wall socket. Avoid using power boards or extension cords if possible. Ensure hands are dry before handling the plug.

Operating Instructions

Before use, ensure all packaging is removed. Place the heater in a safe location and plug it into the mains. The control panel allows you to select between:

• 0: OFF
• I: Low Heat
• II: High Heat
• Oscillation: Options for Low or High Heat with oscillation.

The thermostatic control allows you to maintain a desired temperature. Rotate the knob clockwise to maximum, and once the room is comfortable, slowly turn it anti-clockwise until the heater clicks off. The unit will then cycle automatically to maintain that temperature.

Safety Devices

The heater is equipped with three protection mechanisms:

• Tilt Switch: Automatically turns the unit off if it is not in an upright position.
• Resettable Thermal Link: Disconnects power if the unit overheats; it will reset automatically after cooling.
• Thermal Fuse: A non-resettable fuse that permanently disables the unit in case of severe overheating.

Care and Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures trouble-free operation:

• Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners, petrol, or thinners.
• Regularly vacuum the air vents and grills to remove dust and fluff, which are common causes of overheating.
• There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to dismantle the unit.
