The Granberg 0022E is a non-sterile, single-use Class I medical device designed to prevent the transmission of infective agents, blood, and bodily fluids. These Type IIR masks feature a 3-layer non-woven polypropylene construction with >99% bacterial filtration efficiency.
Usage instructions
- Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the mask.
- Hold the mask by its edges with the white side facing inwards and the nose clip at the top.
- Place the elastic loops behind each ear.
- Pinch and stroke the nose clip to form it to your nose ridge, ensuring a tight seal.
- Pull the lower part of the mask under your chin for a secure fit.
- Do not touch the mask while wearing it. Remove it by holding only the elastic loops and discard immediately.
Important: Do not use the mask for more than 4 hours. Replace it immediately if it becomes damp, loose, or if breathing becomes difficult.
Storage and maintenance
- Store in a dry, ventilated environment between -5°C and +30°C.
- Keep away from direct sunlight, fire, and flammable substances.
- Keep in original packaging when possible.
- Inspect the mask for defects or imperfections before each use.
Safety and limitations
- For single use only; do not reuse.
- While materials are chosen to minimize allergy risks, allergic reactions cannot be ruled out. Seek medical advice if a reaction occurs.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for improper use.
- Dispose of used masks according to local hospital policy and regulations.
