Ensure you have all parts and consider having two adults available for the assembly process to ensure safety.
Safety Information
- High Wind Warning: Never use the umbrella in high wind conditions as damage may occur.
- Assembly Safety: The unit is heavy; two adults are recommended for safe assembly. Keep children out of the assembly area.
- Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the product at all times.
- Usage: Do not use the umbrella as a support, do not shake, lean, or climb on it. It is not intended for commercial use.
Assembly
- Prepare: Assemble on a soft, non-abrasive surface like carpet or cardboard to avoid damage.
- Attach Cap: Attach the umbrella cap (C) to the umbrella shade (A) and turn clockwise until fully tightened.
- Attach Pole: Place the umbrella shade (A) over the umbrella pole (B). Press the tab on the umbrella pole (B) while sliding the pole into the shade until the two pieces snap into place.
Operation
The umbrella is operated using the crank mechanism located on the pole.
- Opening: Shake the umbrella fabric gently before opening. Slowly turn the crank clockwise to open the umbrella.
- Tilting: To tilt the umbrella, turn the crank clockwise and counter-clockwise to adjust the angle.
- Closing: Slowly turn the crank in a counter-clockwise direction to close the umbrella. Always keep the umbrella closed when not in use.
Care and Cleaning
- Clean the pole with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly to prevent mildew.
- Clean the fabric using a mixture of mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry completely.
- Do not use abrasive materials, bleach, or solvents for cleaning.
- Store the umbrella away from extreme heat, freezing conditions, and inclement weather (rain, hail, sleet, snow, or wind).
