Quick guide from the manual
This manual provides essential safety, assembly, and operating instructions for the Daytona DS300S 3-Ton Floor Jack. Before use, ensure the jack is intact, inspect for leaks or damage, and perform a functional test. Always use on hard, level surfaces and support the vehicle with jack stands immediately after lifting.
Safety Information
- Do not exceed the 3-ton rated capacity.
- Use only on hard, level surfaces.
- This is a lifting device only; never work under a load supported solely by the jack.
- Always apply the vehicle parking brake and chock the wheels before lifting.
- People with pacemakers should consult a physician before use due to potential electromagnetic interference.
- Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during operation.
Set Up
Removing Shipping Block: The handle socket is held down by a plastic block under tension. Wear safety goggles, hold the socket down, remove the block, and carefully release the socket.
Attaching the Handle: Slide the upper handle into the lower handle until it clicks. Pull the handle release, insert the grooved end into the socket, and ensure it is secure.
Bleeding Trapped Air: If the jack feels spongy or does not lift fully, remove the cover plate screws, open the fill plug, turn the handle counterclockwise to open the release valve, and pump the handle 10-15 times to force air out.
Operation
Lifting: Ensure the vehicle is on a flat surface in Park with the emergency brake set. Position the saddle under the manufacturer-recommended lifting point. Pump the handle to lift. Once raised, immediately place jack stands of appropriate capacity under the vehicle.
Lowering: Remove all tools from under the vehicle. Raise the load slightly to remove jack stands. Slowly turn the handle counterclockwise (no more than 1/2 turn) to lower the vehicle to the ground.
Maintenance and Servicing
- Before each use: Inspect for leaks, loose parts, or damage.
- Weekly: Lubricate grease fittings and pivot points with general-purpose lithium grease.
- Hydraulic Oil: Change at least every three years. Use only 22-viscosity, non-detergent hydraulic jack oil. Fill to 1/4 inch below the fill plug hole.
Troubleshooting
If the jack fails to lift or lowers under load, check that the release valve is fully closed and bleed trapped air from the system. If the jack is low on oil, check the level and refill as needed. Do not attempt to adjust the safety valve.

The jack may have too much hydraulic oil; check and adjust the fluid level.
Before use
- Inspect for leaking hydraulic fluid.
- Check for loose hardware or parts.
- Verify no misalignment or binding of moving parts.
- Ensure no cracked, bent, or broken parts.
- Test the jack for proper operation without a load.
- Ensure the vehicle is on a hard, level surface.
