Installation Steps
Step 1: Rear Plate Installation
Before installing the rear plate, the water pump must be removed. Secure the rear plate using the provided M8 x 50mm and M10 x 50mm bolts, utilizing the 0.58" spacers (x4).
Step 2: Front Plate Installation
Before installing the front plate, the bushing must be removed from the water pump tab. The front plate assembly requires the following components:
- 3.65" spacers (rest behind the water pump tab)
- 1.87" spacer (behind the front plate)
- 1.79" spacer (behind the alternator)
- M8 x 140mm socket cap bolts with M8 washers
- M10 x 80mm and M10 x 140mm socket cap bolts
Step 3: Smooth Pulley Installation
Install the smooth pulley using the step spacer and thick washer. Secure the assembly using M10 x 150mm, M8 x 120mm, and M8 x 70mm bolts, along with the M8 nut.
Step 4: Sanden 508 A/C Compressor Installation
Mount the Sanden 508 A/C compressor using M10 x 40mm bolts and M10 nuts on the front and rear tabs. Note: For Vintage Air setups, use 30mm bolts and do not use spacers on the front and rear tabs.
