This document provides essential instructions for the safe and correct use of the InLine 11KW Type 2 3-Phase EV charging cable. Always ensure the cable is undamaged before use and never attempt to repair it yourself. The cable is designed for charging electric and hybrid vehicles at charging stations and must not be used with extension cords.

Safety instructions

  • Do not use the cable if it is damaged or dirty.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not expose the cable to direct sunlight or water.
  • Ensure the cable is fully inserted into both the vehicle and the charging station.
  • Do not pull the cable by the cord; always handle by the plug.
  • The product is intended for use by adults; children must be supervised.

Commissioning

  1. Switch off the vehicle and put the gear lever in park.
  2. Remove the protective caps from the charging plugs.
  3. Connect the charging cable to the charging station and insert the vehicle charging plug into the vehicle inlet. Ensure the connection is secure and fully plugged in.
  4. The charging process will start automatically.
  5. To end the charging process, stop the process at the charging station first.
  6. Disconnect the charging plugs from the vehicle and the charging station.
  7. Replace the protective caps and roll up the cable without bending it.

Cleaning and maintenance

Only clean the cable when it is not connected to the vehicle or the charging station. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. Never use harsh cleaning agents, water, or steam cleaners. Store the cable in a dry, clean place with the protective caps on.
