This document provides installation and safety instructions for the Lucci Decor Manor 1.8m Suspension Cord. This product is for indoor use only and must be installed by a licensed electrician. Ensure you have all components before starting and verify that the mounting point can support twice the weight of the fitting.

Installation Requirements

• Must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local and national wiring rules.
• The mounting point must support at least 2 times the weight of the fitting.
• Ensure the power is switched OFF at the circuit before starting.
• Do not install near air vents or in moist/damp areas.
• Check for missing or damaged components before assembly.

Installation Steps

1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Remove the mounting bracket (D) from the canopy (B) by loosening the decorative nuts (F).
3. Use the mounting bracket (D) as a template to mark screw positions on the ceiling.
4. Install the mounting bracket (D) onto the ceiling using appropriately sized screws (E) and anchors (C).
5. Remove the cover from the terminal block (A) and connect the mains supply wire.
6. Ensure wires are secure, no bare wires are exposed, and replace the terminal block cover.
7. Install the canopy (B) onto the mounting bracket (D) and secure with decorative nuts (F).
8. Install a globe (not included) into the lamp holder (G). Do not exceed the maximum wattage.

Wiring

Connect the mains supply wire to the fitting wire as follows:

• Earth: Yellow/Green to Yellow/Green
• Neutral: Blue or Black to Blue
• Live: Brown or Red to Brown

Safety Tips

• Always ensure power is OFF and the fitting has cooled down before maintenance or cleaning.
• Do not touch the globe with bare hands; use a clean cloth or gloves.
• Clean by wiping with a damp cloth; never soak in water.
• Ensure the fitting does not come into contact with corrosive chemicals.
