Safety Instructions
- Excessive strain: Only use the product for its defined application. If exposed to extreme strain (e.g., falling), seek professional inspection.
- Mechanical damage: Handle with care. Discontinue use if functionality changes and have it checked by qualified personnel.
- Alignment and assembly: Must be performed only by trained, qualified personnel.
- Environmental conditions: Avoid storage in condensing humidity, contact with abrasive substances (sand, dust), and temperatures outside the -10°C to +40°C range.
- Cleaning: Promptly clean after contact with saltwater, chlorinated/soapy water, or abrasive substances.
Setup and Processing
The orthotic joint must be aligned with the anatomical pivot point. When using two joints, ensure they are aligned parallel to one another. The bars must be glued into the insertion zones for stability using a special adhesive (636W28*). Final bonding strength is reached after 16 hours.
Adjustment
The joint angle is adjusted using a hexagon wrench in the hollow screw of the lower joint section. Do not adjust the angle while the patient is under full load. The adjustment lever indicates the functional state: red (locked), yellow (flexion movement allowed, limited by extension stop), and green (unlocked in flexion and extension).

Maintenance and Disposal
The manufacturer recommends a semi-annual inspection to verify functionality and check for wear. Shorten maintenance intervals if the patient subjects the product to increased loads. Use only the specified 633F7 lubricant. Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
