This stand mixer is designed for domestic use. Before first use, clean all attachments and the mixing bowl according to the maintenance instructions. Always ensure the appliance is placed on a flat, stable surface and that the mixing bowl and tool are securely fitted before operation. Never operate the mixer with an empty bowl or while the head is raised.

Assembling and Using

  1. Place the main unit on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Press the tilt release button and lift the stand mixer head to the open position.
  3. Place the mixing bowl onto the unit and rotate clockwise until it locks.
  4. Attach the splash guard.
  5. Select the required mixing tool (Beating blade, Whisk, or Dough hook) and push it onto the attachment shaft, twisting anticlockwise until secure.
  6. Press the tilt release button to lower the head until it locks.
  7. Plug in and switch on.
  8. Rotate the speed control dial clockwise to the desired speed.
  9. To stop, rotate the dial back to '0'.
  10. To remove tools or the bowl, switch off, unplug, lift the head, and rotate the tool/bowl to release.

Speed Setting Guide

Dough hook: Use speed settings 1-5 for yeast mixtures like bread, pizza bases, and doughnuts.

Beating blade: Use speed settings 2-6 for cakes, biscuits, pastry, icing, filling, and mashed potatoes.

Whisk: Use speed settings 6-8 for eggs, cream, batter, low-fat sponges, meringues, cheesecakes, mousses, and soufflés.

Note: Always begin mixing on a low speed setting before gradually increasing to a high speed setting to prevent splattering.

Care and Maintenance

Important: The stand mixer is not dishwasher safe.

  1. Switch off and unplug the mixer before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.
  3. Wash all attachments and the mixing bowl in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
