Product Overview

The Rokinon 14mm F2.8 Series II is a high-performance ultra-wide-angle lens designed for full-frame coverage. Safety and Handling

To ensure the longevity and performance of your lens, please observe the following precautions:

• Do not look directly at the sun through the lens, as this may cause serious eye damage.
• Always attach or detach the lens while the camera is turned off.
• Protect the lens from water, high humidity, and excessive heat.
• Avoid drastic temperature changes. When moving from cold to warm environments, place the lens in a sealed bag until it reaches room temperature to prevent condensation.
• Keep the lens clean by using a blower or soft brush to remove dust. For stubborn spots, use a microfiber cloth with one or two drops of reputable lens cleaner, wiping in a circular motion.

Mounting and Operation

To attach the lens, remove the rear lens cap and the camera body cap. Align the index mark on the lens barrel with the camera mount and rotate clockwise until it clicks into place. For Nikon mounts, rotate counter-clockwise. To detach, hold the lens release button on the camera body and rotate the lens in the opposite direction until it stops.

Focusing and Aperture Control

The lens features a precise focusing ring and a dedicated focusing lock. To lock the focus, turn the indicator line on the ring to the Lock mark. For manual focusing, use your camera's focus magnification or focus confirmation features. The lens also includes an Aperture De-click Switch, which allows you to toggle between a clicked aperture (for photography) and a smooth, de-clicked aperture (ideal for video). Note that for Nikon cameras, specific procedures are required to use the de-clicked function, involving setting the aperture ring to F22 and using the camera's manual exposure mode.
