This document provides essential safety, installation, and maintenance information for the Samsung refrigerator. It is intended for household use. Always ensure the power outlet is easily accessible for emergency disconnection. Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting, and ensure ventilation openings in the appliance or built-in structure are not blocked.

Safety information

• Warning: Risk of fire/flammable materials. The appliance contains a small amount of R-600a refrigerant. Do not damage the cooling circuit.
• Electrical safety: Do not use multiple-socket adapters or extension cords. Ensure the power cord is not trapped or damaged during installation.
• Usage: This appliance is for food storage only. Do not store volatile, flammable, or explosive substances inside.
• Children: Children aged 8 and older may use the appliance under supervision. Do not allow children to play with the appliance.

Installation

The refrigerator must be installed on a stable, level floor. Proper ventilation is critical for efficient operation:

• The cabinet must have at least 200 cm² air intake and exhaust openings.
• Ensure a minimum 10 mm gap between the cabinet and the rear of the refrigerator.
• If the cabinet has doors, ensure they are not too heavy to prevent tilting or falling.
• When installing in a 560 mm deep cabinet, ensure the power cord is routed to the side of the refrigerator to maintain energy efficiency.

Temperature settings

Optimal temperature settings for food storage are 3 °C for the refrigerator and -19 °C for the freezer. The appliance features:

• Power Cool: Accelerates the cooling process to maximum fan speed for 2.5 hours.
• Power Freeze: Accelerates the freezing process to maximum fan speed for 50 hours. Activate this 20 hours before adding a large amount of food.

Maintenance and cleaning

• Clean the interior and exterior with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water. Do not use harsh chemicals like benzene, thinners, or bleach.
• LED lights and light sources must only be serviced by an authorized Samsung service center.
• If the appliance is left empty for a long time, turn it off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the doors open to prevent mold.
