Safety Instructions

• Two-hand operation: The machine must be operated by one person using both hands to ensure safety.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety goggles, hearing protection, safety shoes, and work gloves.
• Work Area: Keep the work area clean, well-lit, and free of obstacles. Ensure no unauthorized persons or animals are within a 5-meter radius.
• Maintenance: Always switch off the motor and unplug the power cord before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or repair work.
• Warning: Never remove jammed logs by hand.

Setup and Operation

The log splitter is designed for use on a flat, firm surface. Before starting, ensure the hydraulic oil tank is properly vented by loosening the ventilation screw. The machine features a trunk lifter to assist in positioning heavy logs. Always ensure the log is placed centrally on the base plate or swivel table before initiating the splitting process.

Maintenance

• Oil Level: Regularly check the hydraulic oil level using the dipstick. Top up if necessary with HLP 32 hydraulic oil.
• Lubrication: Regularly grease the splitting column to prevent dry running.
• Cleaning: Clean the machine thoroughly after each use with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• Splitting Wedge: Keep the splitting wedge sharp; regrind or replace it if it becomes blunt.

Troubleshooting

If the motor stops automatically, the overvoltage protection may have been triggered; consult a qualified electrician. If the log does not split, ensure it is positioned correctly or sharpen the splitting wedge. For oil leaks or unusual noises, check the oil level and hydraulic system, or contact your dealer.

Disposal

Dispose of the machine and its components, including waste oil, in accordance with local environmental regulations. Do not dispose of electrical equipment in household waste.
