The Tefal Pronto is an electric pizza oven specifically engineered for outdoor use. It is equipped with a rotating cooking stone to ensure uniform heat distribution and perfect crust results. The oven is designed for domestic household use and must be placed on a stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface.
Safety Instructions
- Outdoor Use Only: This appliance is strictly for outdoor use and must not be used indoors.
- Electrical Safety: Must be connected to a socket with an earthing contact and supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
- Hot Surfaces: The oven reaches high temperatures during operation. Do not touch the interior or front frame while in use. Keep children and pets away.
- Weather Protection: Do not expose the oven to adverse weather conditions such as snow, ice, heavy rain, or winds. Store in a dry, ventilated place when not in use.
- Prohibited Items: Do not use aluminum foil, parchment paper, or dishes made of glass, stainless steel, or aluminum inside the oven.
Installation and Assembly
Install the oven on a stable, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure it is not placed under overhangs or near dry vegetation. Remove all packaging materials, including the protective foam disc under the stone's rotation support, before placing the stone inside with the smooth surface facing up.
Baking Instructions
Before the first use, heat the oven for 2 hours at maximum temperature. For baking, select the desired temperature and wait for the indicator light to turn red and the beep to sound. Dust the pizza peel with semolina to prevent sticking, slide the pizza onto the center of the stone, and activate the stone rotation for even cooking. Do not leave the oven unattended while baking.
Care and Maintenance
Always turn off and unplug the oven, allowing it to cool for at least 1 hour before cleaning. Clean the interior thoroughly to prevent fire hazards from residual oil. The cooking stone should be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and a hard brush; do not clean the stone with water. If water is used, the stone must be dried in a conventional oven at 60°C for 2 hours or air-dried for 48 hours before next use.
Troubleshooting and Disposal
If the front panel LED bar blinks red and white, turn off and unplug the device immediately and contact after-sales service. Excessive smoke indicates a cooking time that is too long; remove the pizza. If flames occur, unplug the product and let them extinguish on their own. Dispose of the appliance at a local civic waste collection point.
