This document provides essential installation and safety information for the Thule Yepp Nexxt 2 Mini front-mounted child bike seat. Always ensure the seat is correctly installed and the child is securely fastened before every ride.
Safety and Usage Limits

- Age range: 9 to 36 months.
- Weight capacity: 9 to 15 kg (20 to 33 lbs).
- Height limit: Maximum 93 cm (36.61 inches).
- Speed limit: Maximum 25 km/h (15 mph).
- Conditions: Do not use in extreme weather or on rough terrain.
- Safety: Never leave the child unattended in the seat. Always use a helmet.
Installation
The seat is designed for front mounting on a bicycle handlebar stem. Two installation alternatives are provided depending on the bike's stem configuration:


- Alternative 1: Standard stem mounting (pages 16-18).
- Alternative 2: Alternative stem mounting (pages 19-23).
- Ensure all bolts are tightened to 6 Nm.
- Verify the seat is level and securely locked before use.
Operation and Maintenance

- Securing the child: Use the harness system. Ensure the buckle clicks securely. Adjust straps to fit snugly.
- Footrests: Adjust footrests to the child's height and secure with straps.
- Locking: The seat includes a key-operated lock to secure it to the bike. Keep your key number safe.
- Cleaning: Clean with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Common problems
Loosen the mounting bolts, adjust the seat position until level, and re-tighten to 6 Nm.
