Product Description

The Ufesa CF Alpha (Ivory/Navy) is a portable electric heater designed for well-insulated spaces or occasional use. It features an adjustable thermostat, power selection switch, and a safety tip-over switch that automatically shuts off the heating element if the unit is not in an upright position.

Safety Instructions

  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities if they are supervised or instructed in safe use.
  • Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
  • Warning: To avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
  • Do not use the heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower, or swimming pool.
  • Keep textiles, curtains, or any flammable material at a minimum distance of 1 meter from the air outlet.
  • Do not use the heater in small rooms occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless under constant supervision.
  • Always use the device in an upright position.

Operation

To activate the heater, unwind the power cord and plug it into a power outlet. Turn the thermostat knob to the maximum position, then turn the switch knob clockwise to the desired setting: fan only (cool air), low power (I), or maximum power (II). Turn the knob to 'O' to switch off the heater.

Automatic Safety Shut-Off

The heater is equipped with a built-in safety device that switches it off in case of accidental overheating (e.g., obstructed air intake/outlet). To reset: turn the control to 'O', unplug the unit, wait 5-10 minutes for it to cool down, ensure there are no obstructions, and plug it back in.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Unplug the device and let it cool down before cleaning or storing. Clean only by hand using a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap. The use of abrasive products, brushes, solvents, or alcohol is strictly prohibited. Do not immerse the appliance in water. Ensure the air intake and outlet grilles are free from dust and obstructions to maintain efficiency.
