The Amzchef YL18-DC08 is a double induction cooktop designed for efficient cooking. Before use, ensure the unit is placed on a stable, non-metallic surface and that the air intake and exhaust vents are not blocked. Always use induction-compatible cookware with a magnetic base. The unit features a child safety lock, timer, and adjustable power/temperature settings. If the unit displays error codes (E0-E6), refer to the troubleshooting section for resolution steps.

Components

The cooktop consists of two 1800W heating zones, a glass surface, and a control panel for each hob. The control panel includes buttons for Timer, Lock, Decrease, Increase, Power/Temp, and On/Off, along with an LED display screen to show current settings.

Suitable Cookware

Only use cookware with a base suitable for induction cooking. Look for the induction symbol on the packaging or the bottom of the pan. You can perform a magnet test: if a magnet is attracted to the base, the pan is suitable. Do not use cookware made of glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic, or earthenware. Ensure the pan base is smooth and flat, and do not use pans with a diameter exceeding 26 cm.

Operation

Power On: Connect to power; the display will show OFF. Press the On/Off button to enter standby mode. Press the Function button to toggle between Power (W) and Temperature (°F) modes. Use the Increase/Decrease buttons to adjust settings. The unit will automatically switch off after 2 hours if no operation is detected, except when the timer is active.

Timer: After setting power or temperature, press the Timer button. Use the Increase/Decrease buttons to set the time (1 minute to 3 hours). Hold the Timer button for 2 seconds to cancel.

Child Safety Lock: Press the Lock button for 2 seconds to activate. The indicator light will turn on, and the control panel will be locked except for the On/Off button. Press again for 2 seconds to unlock.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always turn off the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning. Use mild detergent or dishwashing liquid with a soft cloth to remove dirt. Do not use abrasives or strong detergents. The air vent can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or cotton. Ensure the top plate and cookware are clean before cooking to prevent discoloration.

Troubleshooting

If the unit does not work, check the following:

• Power indicator not on: Ensure the power cord is connected properly.
• Power off automatically: The unit may have overheated or reached the 2-hour auto-off limit. Restart the unit.
• LED shows E0: No pot, pot too small, or unsuitable pot. Place a suitable induction pot on the zone.
• LED shows E3/E4: Voltage protection. Ensure voltage is between 80V and 150V.
• LED shows E5: High temperature protection. Wait for the unit to cool down.
• LED shows E6: IGBT overheat. Check if air intake/outlet is jammed.
