Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of the Bella 12" x 22" Griddle. Key requirements include using the provided temperature control probe only, ensuring the appliance is placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface with at least 4 inches of clearance, and never using cooking sprays, which can damage the ceramic non-stick coating.
Getting to know your griddle
The griddle features a removable temperature control probe, a ceramic non-stick surface, cool-touch handles, and a dishwasher-safe drip tray. Always handle the temperature control probe with care, as dropping it can affect its calibration.

Operating instructions
- Ensure the temperature control probe is set to OFF.
- Plug the probe securely into the griddle's socket.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet. Always connect the cord to the griddle first, then to the wall outlet.
- Preheat for approximately 10 minutes by setting the desired temperature. The indicator light will turn off once the set temperature is reached.
- Add food and cook according to your recipe. The light will cycle on and off during cooking to maintain temperature.
- After cooking, turn the probe to OFF, unplug from the wall, and allow the unit to cool completely before removing the probe.
Cleaning and maintenance
The griddle is not dishwasher safe. After the unit has cooled, remove the temperature control probe and the drip tray. Wash the griddle plate and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Wipe the temperature control probe with a soft, damp cloth and ensure it is completely dry before storage. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners, as these will damage the ceramic coating.
Stain removal
For stubborn stains, create a paste using baking soda and water. Apply to the stained area, let it sit for a few minutes, then gently scrub with a plastic scouring pad. Wipe clean and dry thoroughly.
Safety
Always use oven mitts when handling hot surfaces. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or temperature control probe in water. Keep the appliance away from children and do not leave it unattended while in use.
