The Bestway SaluSpa Miami is an inflatable hot tub designed for household use. Safety is paramount when operating this electrical equipment. Users must strictly follow all instructions to prevent risks such as electric shock, drowning, or hyperthermia. Never allow children to use the spa without constant adult supervision. The unit is equipped with a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) plug, which must be tested before every use. Ensure the spa is placed at least 5 feet (1.5 m) away from any metal surfaces or electrical appliances. Water temperature should never exceed 40°C (104°F), with 38°C (100°F) being the recommended safe limit for healthy adults. Pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, or those taking medication should consult a physician before use.
Assembly and Setup
Before inflation, inspect the air valve to ensure it is secure. Use the provided wrench to tighten the valve if necessary, but do not overtighten. Do not use an air compressor to inflate the spa. Ensure the inflation and deflation ports remain unobstructed during use. The spa must be placed on a level surface and should never be operated unless it is filled with water. Always keep the spa covered when the heating function is active to reduce heating duration and energy consumption.
Operation
The control panel allows you to manage the massage system, heating, and filtration. The massage system features an auto-shutoff function after 30 minutes. The heating system can be set to a desired temperature, and the pump will automatically maintain it. If the control panel is locked, press the lock/unlock button for 3 seconds to activate it. The LED display shows the current water temperature. Note that heating duration depends on the starting water temperature and ambient temperature.
Maintenance and Storage
Regular maintenance is essential for water quality and product longevity. Clean or replace filter cartridges daily or weekly as needed. Use appropriate chemical treatments to maintain pH levels between 7.4-7.6, total alkalinity between 80-120ppm, and free chlorine between 2-4ppm. Always remove the chemical dispenser while the spa is in use. Before storing, ensure the spa, pump, and pipes are completely dry. Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing the spa to sub-zero temperatures, as this can cause the plastic to become brittle and crack.
