Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch AdvancedGlue 18V is a cordless glue gun designed for solvent-free bonding of various materials including paper, cardboard, wood, leather, textiles, foam, ceramics, metal, glass, and stone. It features two selectable processing temperatures (130 °C and 200 °C) to accommodate different materials, including heat-sensitive ones like Styropor.
Device description
The glue gun features a nozzle (1), heat shield (2), glue stick compartment (4), battery release button (5), battery (6), temperature selection buttons (7, 9), on/off button (8), and a feed trigger (10).

Operation
Switching On and Off: Press the on/off button (8) to turn the device on. It will heat to the last used temperature. The corresponding temperature button (7 or 9) will flash green while heating and stay solid green when ready. To turn off, press and hold the on/off button (8) until the LED goes out. The device automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Gluing: Insert the appropriate glue stick (3) into the compartment (4). Select the desired temperature (130 °C or 200 °C). Once ready, press the feed trigger (10) with moderate pressure to apply glue. Press materials together for about 30 seconds. The bond is stable after approximately 5 minutes.
Maintenance and cleaning
Always switch off the glue gun before maintenance. Keep the device clean for safe operation. Hardened glue can be removed with a blunt object; do not use solvents. Do not pull an inserted glue stick out from the back of the gun.
Safety
The nozzle and glue reach temperatures of approximately 200 °C. Do not touch the hot nozzle. Keep people and animals away from hot glue. If hot glue touches skin, hold under cold running water for several minutes; do not attempt to remove the glue from the skin.
