The Bosch AdvancedPrune 18V-45 is a cordless pruning shear designed for domestic use on branches and plants up to 45 mm (soft wood) or 35 mm (hard wood) in diameter. Only one extension pole may be used with this tool.

Assembly
Always wear protective gloves during assembly. Before starting work, perform a full cutting cycle to ensure the linkage is fully connected.
Mounting/Dismounting the cutting head
Slide the cutting head (3) into the machine, aligning the arrows. Push firmly and screw the twist lock (4) to the right to secure. To remove, unscrew the twist lock (4) and pull the cutting head (3) off.
Mounting/Dismounting the extension pole
Remove the cutting head. Slide the extension pole (8) into the machine and secure with the twist lock (4). Then, slide the cutting head (3) onto the extension pole (8) and secure it with the twist lock (4).
Operation
Activate the 360° trigger (6) by rotating it clockwise, then gently pull it backwards to operate the blades. Releasing the trigger opens the blades for the next cut.
Maintenance and Storage
Always remove the battery before maintenance, transport, or storage. Clean the blade with a damp cloth after use. Apply lubricant spray before and after use in a well-ventilated area. Never spray or immerse the product in water. Store in a dry, secure place out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
- LEDs flashing: Branch too hard, battery/tool overheated.
- Cutting head not working: Internal linkage not engaged, incorrect assembly, or debris on blade.
- Machine stops while cutting: Branch too hard, low battery, or tool overheated.
