The Bosch AdvancedShear 18V-10 Extension Pole is designed exclusively for use with the AdvancedShear 18V-10 unit to trim lawn edges and shrubs at ground level. The extension pole allows for comfortable operation at waist level or above head height when used with the shrub shear attachment.
Device description
The system consists of the extension pole (14) with an integrated handle (15) and auxiliary handle (16). It features a product holder (11) for the main unit, with buttons for rotating the product (12) and the head (13) to adjust the cutting angle.

Assembly and operation
Mounting the grass shear: Slide the grass shear (3) upward into the product holder (11) until you hear a click. Insert the battery (7) into the battery port (9). To dismount, press the release button (10) on the extension pole and slide the attachment out.
Trimming edges: Rotate the product 90° left or right to set the vertical position. Guide the unit along the lawn edge, avoiding contact with paved surfaces, stones, or walls to protect the blade.
Cutting hedges: Ensure the unit is switched off before removing cut material. The double-sided blade allows for cutting in both directions or with a side-to-side motion. Branches up to 8 mm thick can be cut.
Maintenance and storage
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance, tool changes, or transport. Keep the product and ventilation slots clean. Do not spray with water or immerse in water. Store in a dry, secure place out of reach of children. Regularly check that all nuts, bolts, and screws are tight.
Safety
Always wear eye and head protection, safety gloves, and slip-resistant footwear. Keep hands away from the blade. The device contains magnets; keep away from medical implants like pacemakers. Do not use in the rain.
