Device Description
The GWS 18V-7 is a cordless angle grinder designed for cutting, roughing, and brushing metal and stone materials, as well as drilling in stone with diamond core cutters without water. It features restart protection, soft start, and is compatible with Bosch 18V batteries.
Assembly
Before any work, remove the battery. Ensure the protective guard is correctly mounted and locked. The guard must be adjusted to prevent sparks from flying towards the operator. Always use the auxiliary handle (7) for safe operation. When using rubber sanding pads or wire brushes, always mount the hand guard (16).
Operation
To start the tool, push the on/off switch (4) forward. To lock it, press the front of the switch down. To switch off, release the switch or press the back of it if locked. Always perform a test run of at least one minute without load before using any abrasive tool. If the tool becomes electrostatically charged, the built-in electronics will switch it off; press the switch again to restart.
Maintenance and Cleaning
