Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch GAA 18V-48 Professional is a battery adapter designed to use a Bosch 18V lithium-ion battery as a power source. It allows you to power up to two USB devices and one heating element for heated workwear simultaneously.
Device description
The adapter features two USB ports (Type A) and a socket for connecting the heating element of heated workwear. It includes a belt clip for portability and an On button to activate the power output.
Battery installation and removal
To insert the battery, slide it into the adapter until it clicks into place. Do not use force. To remove, press the release buttons on the battery and pull it out of the adapter.
Charging external USB devices
Plug your device's charging cable into one of the USB ports on the adapter. Press the On button to activate the output. The USB ports will automatically deactivate after 30 seconds if no cable is connected, or after the charging process is complete to save energy.
Connecting heated workwear
Plug the heating element connector into the dedicated socket on the adapter. Press the On button to activate power. Adjust the heat settings directly on your heated workwear according to its specific instructions.
Troubleshooting
If your USB device is not charging, ensure the battery is charged and the adapter is activated using the On button. If the heating element does not warm up, check the connection to the adapter socket. If both fail, remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, and reinsert it.
Safety and maintenance
Protect the battery from heat, fire, moisture, and water. Clean the ventilation slots occasionally with a soft, dry brush. If the battery's operating time is significantly reduced after charging, it has reached the end of its service life and should be replaced.
