Device Description
The angle grinder is designed for cutting, roughing, and brushing metal and stone materials without the use of water. It features Bluetooth connectivity (via GCY 30-4 module) for data transfer and settings adjustment.
Assembly and Installation
- Protective Guard: Must be securely attached and adjusted to prevent sparks from flying towards the operator.
- Auxiliary Handle: Always use the auxiliary handle (10) for safe operation.
- Grinding/Cutting Discs: Ensure the disc dimensions match the tool. Use the quick-clamping nut (14) for tool-free mounting.
- Bluetooth Module: The GCY 30-4 module can be inserted into the designated slot (7).
Operation
To start, push the On/Off switch (6) forward. To lock, press the front part of the switch down. To stop, release the switch or press the rear part if locked.
Safety Features
- Kickback Stop: Electronically interrupts power if the tool suddenly jams.
- Restart Protection: Prevents uncontrolled startup after power interruption.
- Impact Shutdown: Automatically switches off the tool if it hits the floor after a fall.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before maintenance or transport. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation.

Common problems
Tool does not start
Check battery charge status and ensure the battery is properly inserted.
Tool shuts down automatically
The tool may be overheated or the battery is empty. Allow the tool to cool down or replace/charge the battery.
Kickback stop triggered
Switch the tool off and on again to restart.

- Check that the grinding tool is correctly mounted and can rotate freely.
- Perform a test run of at least 1 minute without load.
- Ensure the protective guard is securely attached and adjusted.
- Check battery charge level.
