Device Description

The tool is designed for driving and loosening screws and for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The GSB model also supports impact drilling in brick, masonry, and stone.

Operation

Inserting the battery: Push the charged battery into the base of the tool until it locks securely.

Changing the tool: The drill spindle is locked when the on/off switch is not pressed, allowing for quick and easy tool changes. Open the keyless chuck by turning it in the direction of rotation 1, insert the tool, and tighten the chuck firmly by hand in the direction of rotation 2.

Setting the rotational direction: Use the rotational direction switch only when the tool is at a standstill. Press to the left for right rotation (drilling/screwing) and to the right for left rotation (loosening screws/nuts).

Operating modes: Use the torque presetting ring (GSR) or the operating mode presetting ring (GSB) to select between drilling, screwdriving, and impact drilling (GSB only).

Safety

Always wear ear protection when impact drilling. Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing operations where the cutting accessory or fasteners may contact hidden wiring. Avoid dust accumulation at the workplace, as dust can easily ignite.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Keep the power tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation. For repairs or spare parts, contact your local Bosch service center or visit www.bosch-pt.com.
