This document provides essential instructions for the Bosch GSR 18V-50 and GSB 18V-50 cordless drill/drivers. The GSR model is designed for drilling and screwdriving, while the GSB model includes an additional impact drilling mode for masonry and stone.

Operation
- Battery: Insert the charged battery into the handle until it clicks. To remove, press the release button and pull out.
- Direction: Use the rotational direction switch to select forward (left) or reverse (right).
- Operating Mode: Use the mode selection ring to choose between drilling, screwdriving, or impact drilling (GSB model only).
- Speed/Torque: Adjust speed via the trigger pressure. Use the torque ring to select the desired torque for screwdriving. Use the gear selector (1 or 2) for speed range adjustment.
Maintenance and cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation.
Safety
Always wear ear protection when impact drilling. Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when working near hidden wiring. Ensure the tool is switched off before placing it down.

Common problems
Tool does not start
