Quick guide from the manual
The Bosch UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 is a cordless impact driver designed for driving and loosening screws and bolts, as well as tightening and loosening nuts. Key features include a 3-stage speed preselection and an integrated worklight.
Operation
The tool features a tool holder (1) driven by an electric motor via a gear and impact mechanism. The working procedure consists of two phases: screwing in and tightening (impact mechanism in action). The impact mechanism activates as soon as the screw connection runs tight and the motor is loaded.
Setting the rotational direction
Use the rotational direction switch (2) to change the direction. Note: This is not possible while the on/off switch (7) is pressed.
- Right rotation: Press the switch (2) to the left stop to drive in screws and tighten nuts.
- Left rotation: Press the switch (2) to the right stop to loosen or unscrew.
Speed preselection
Use the mode button (12) to preselect the speed in three stages. The selected setting is shown on the speed indicator (11) and is saved even during operation.
Battery and Charging
The battery charge indicator on the tool shows the charge level for a few seconds when the on/off switch is half or fully pressed. If the three LEDs flash quickly, the overload protection has triggered. If only the middle LED flashes, the temperature is outside the operating range; allow the tool and battery to cool.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regularly clean the air vents to prevent excessive metal dust accumulation, which can cause electrical hazards. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or tool changes.
