Device Description

The tool features a tool holder, locking sleeve, PowerLight, speed indicator, electronic speed preselection, battery release button, rotational direction switch, and on/off switch.

Assembly

Battery Charging: Use only recommended chargers. The battery is supplied partially charged; charge it fully before first use. The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by Electronic Cell Protection (ECP).

Changing the Tool:

  • GDR 12V-110: Pull the locking sleeve forward, insert the tool into the holder, and release the sleeve to lock.
  • GDS 12V-115: Slide the application tool onto the square drive of the tool holder.

Operation

Rotational Direction: Use the switch to change direction. Right rotation for driving screws/tightening nuts; left rotation for loosening.

Speed/Impact Rate: Use the preselection button to choose between two speed/impact stages.

Overload Protection: The tool features temperature-dependent overload protection that shuts off the device if it is overloaded or if the battery temperature exceeds the permitted range.
