Device Description
The tool is designed for hammer drilling in concrete, brick, and stone, as well as light to medium chiseling. It is also suitable for drilling without impact in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. Models with electronic control and right/left rotation are also suitable for screwdriving.
Operation
Battery: Use only original Bosch Li-ion batteries with the voltage specified on the tool's type plate. The battery is partially charged; charge it fully before first use.
Operating Modes: Use the impact/mode selector switch (12) to choose the mode. Press the release button (11) to change modes only when the tool is switched off.
- Hammer drilling: For concrete or stone.
- Drilling without impact: For wood, metal, ceramic, plastic, and screwdriving.
- Vario-Lock: For adjusting the chisel position.
- Chiseling: For light to medium demolition work.
Connectivity: When the Bluetooth Low Energy Module GCY 42 is inserted, data and settings can be transferred to a mobile device via Bluetooth wireless technology.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing any work on the tool (maintenance, tool change, etc.) and for transport/storage. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Replace a damaged dust protection cap immediately.
