The Bosch EasyCut&Grind is a cordless tool designed for cutting metal, wood-based materials, and plastics without water. It can also be used for sanding with approved abrasive tools.
Battery Charging
Use only the power adaptors listed in the technical data. The battery is supplied partially charged. Connect the USB Type-C port (2) via the USB cable (10) to the power adaptor (9) and plug it into a socket. The battery charge indicator (3) shows the progress.
Fitting Abrasive Tools
- Clean the grinding spindle (12) and all parts to be mounted.
- To tighten or loosen, press the spindle lock button (6) and simultaneously turn the tool to fix the spindle.
- For the grinding/cutting disc (8), use the hex key from the transportation cover (13) to remove/secure the clamping bolt with washer (15).
- Ensure the tool is fitted correctly and can turn freely before switching on.
Operation
To unlock the tool, press the lock-off button (4). The status LED (1) lights up green. Press and hold the on/off switch (5) to operate. To switch off, release the switch and press the lock-off button (4) to lock the tool. It locks automatically if not used for five minutes.
Safety
Always wear safety goggles. Keep the tool away from heat, fire, water, and moisture. Do not touch discs until they have cooled down. Ensure the workpiece is secure.
Maintenance
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. If the battery fails, contact an authorized Bosch service agent.

Common problems
Ensure the tool is unlocked by pressing the lock-off button (4) and that the status LED (1) is green.
The temperature is outside the permitted range. Wait until the temperature is within the permitted range for charging to resume.
The battery may be discharged or the tool may have overheated. Check the battery charge level and allow the tool to cool down.
Before use
- Ensure the abrasive tool is correctly mounted and can rotate freely.
- Perform a test run of at least 1 minute without load.
- Check that the abrasive tool does not brush against the protective guard.
- Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped if it is not stable under its own weight.
- Check the battery charge level.
