Follow these steps to prepare your trimmer:

  1. Shaft Assembly: Remove the transport safety (9) and connect the shaft parts until they click into place. Note: Once assembled, the shaft cannot be disassembled.
  2. Handle Adjustment: Press the buttons (7) to adjust the handle (1) to your preferred position.
  3. Protection Guard: Move the plant protection frame to the storage position, attach the guard (8) with the provided screw, and then move the frame to the working position.

Operation

To switch on, press the lock-off button (3) followed by the On/Off switch (4). Release the switch to turn off. To switch between trimming and edge cutting, rotate the handle 180° against the shaft until the mechanism clicks into place.

Battery Charging

The battery is equipped with temperature monitoring (0°C to 35°C). Insert the battery (6) into the charger (10). The charging status is indicated by the LED on the charger. A solid green light indicates a full charge.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

If the trimmer vibrates heavily or fails to cut, check the cutting line. If the line is broken or too short, use the manual feed button (15) to pull out more line. If the motor does not start, check if the battery is charged or if it is too hot/cold.

Safety

Always wear eye and ear protection. Keep bystanders at a safe distance. Do not use the trimmer in the rain. Regularly inspect the area for wildlife and pets before trimming.
