The Bosch EasyInflate 18V-500 is a cordless air pump designed for inflating large-volume items such as air mattresses, inflatable boats, or pool toys. It is not suitable for high-pressure applications like bicycle tires. The device is intended for household use only.
Device description
The air pump features an air inlet (2) for deflation and an air outlet (3) for inflation. It is powered by a Bosch 18V battery (1) and operated via an On/Off switch (6). A battery charge indicator (5) shows the remaining capacity.
Operation
To inflate items, attach the hose (4) and/or adapter nozzle (8) to the air outlet (3). To deflate, attach them to the air inlet (2). Insert the hose or nozzle and turn clockwise until it locks. To start, slide the switch (6) to 'On'. Monitor the pressure regularly and switch off when the desired pressure is reached.
Battery care
Use only recommended Bosch chargers. Charge the battery fully before first use. The battery charge indicator (5) shows capacity: 3 green LEDs (75-100%), 2 green (40-75%), 1 green (15-40%), or slow flashing green (0-15%). If LEDs flash rapidly, the battery is outside the operating temperature range or overload protection is active.
Maintenance and cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing maintenance, changing accessories, or transporting/storing the pump to prevent accidental activation. Keep the pump and ventilation slots clean for safe operation.

Battery charge indicator flashes rapidly
Battery temperature is outside the operating range or overload protection has been triggered.
Pump does not start
Check if the battery is properly inserted and charged.
Before use
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Check that the air inlet (2) is not blocked.
- Select the correct adapter nozzle (8) for the item's valve.
- Ensure the hose (4) is securely locked in place.
