Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential instructions for the Bosch EasySander 18V-8 cordless multi-sander. It covers safe operation, battery handling, dust extraction, and maintenance. Always refer to the full manual for comprehensive safety information.
Device Description
The EasySander 18V-8 is designed for dry sanding of wood, plastic, metal, filler, and varnished surfaces. It is particularly effective for profiles, corners, and hard-to-reach areas.
Battery Handling
Insert the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place. To remove, press the battery release button and pull the battery out. The battery charge indicator on the tool shows the charge level or overload status for a few seconds when switched on.
Dust Extraction
Self-generated extraction: Slide the dust box (5) onto the extraction outlet (10). Empty the dust box by pulling it off with a slight twisting motion. Unscrew the filter element (11) to empty and clean it with a soft brush.

External extraction: Insert the dust extraction adapter (13) into an extraction hose (12) until it clicks. Connect the adapter to the extraction outlet (10) and the hose to a vacuum cleaner.
Sanding Sheet Replacement
The sanding plate (7) features a hook-and-loop fastening system. Before attaching a new sheet, clean the plate with a brush. Ensure the holes in the sanding sheet align with the holes in the sanding plate. The tool uses two sanding sheets; replace them individually as needed. Always use sheets with the same grit.
Operation
To switch on, tilt the on/off switch (1) to the right to position 'I'. To switch off, tilt it to the left to position 'O'. The tool features temperature-dependent overload protection that switches off the tool if it is overloaded or if the battery temperature exceeds the permitted range.
Maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing any work on the tool (maintenance, tool change, etc.) or during transport and storage. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation.
